Our Fine Art HD Acrylic reveals the true quality of images as well as the camera behind them.
With HD Acrylics we execute a finish that is so flawless, we’re constantly asked how it is achieved. The secret is uncompromising quality and craftsmanship, alongside cutting-edge technology. We use specially selected materials to bring out the best colour rendition and sharpness possible. Bonded using the finest UK-made fine art adhesive, images are fully UV sealed and protected to last a lifetime.
Our high-quality printing and the gloss acrylic give you a super sharp image with a high definition finish.
Here are some of the details that set our HD Acrylics apart:
Printing. 12-colour archival pigment printing (Fine Art).
Certified. Canon pigment inks are guaranteed for 100+ years.
Thickness. 6mm total. 5mm premium cast acrylic + 1mm backing.
Finishing. High gloss diamond polished and hand buffed edges.
Ready to hang. Supplied with an aluminium sub-frame as standard. Optional aluminium spacers are also available.
Branding. We can apply your own branding to the back of the product.
Bespoke sizes. Up to 1.5m in width and 3m in length.
Production time. Standard turnaround is 7 – 10 working days.
All wall art up to an overall size of 46 x 36 inches (110 x 90cm) is supplied in a presentation box as standard.

Aluminium Subframe (Recommended)
The aluminium subframe adds rigidity to the Acrylic and ensures it doesn’t warp over time and stays perfectly floated on the wall.

Ideal for commercial spaces that don’t mind the look of the silver spacers on the front of the product or for those more focused on a simple fixed & secure solution to hanging panels.

FAQs
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions.
Does it come with a hanging system?
Yes, the Acrylic comes with an aluminium subframe on the back as standard and it sits 2 inches from the top of the acrylic edge. You can also select ‘spacers’ when ordering, but this will be shown on the front of your image, on the four corners. We recommend the subframe as you can hang from it, and won’t affect the image (front). We provide square hangers on the sides which are also useful to help level the piece if wall fixings are not accurate. For smaller pieces (less than 30×20 inches) these can be hung directly from the subframe lip if desired. Galleries often do this as they swap images around and need a quick solution that hangs level.
Is the Matte Acrylic as thick as the Gloss Acrylic?
The overall thickness is the same, 6mm. Our Standard Gloss Acrylic is 5mm acrylic + 1mm PVC and the Matte Acrylic is 3mm acrylic + 3mm PVC. The Matte (non-reflective finish) is thinner to retain as much detail in the image as possible. The etched surface will soften the image slightly and be more noticeable on smaller pieces.
Do you print straight onto the Acrylic? / Will I lose any of the image?
We do not direct print acrylics, this is used more within the signage industry. We prefer greater control and detail in the printing, so all our acrylics are output on Fine Art Archival pigment machines on a high gloss photographic film, then reverse mounted onto the acrylic glass sheet. Please allow 5mm (0.4in) for the bleed all around the image which will be lost during the mounting process.
How big can you make the HD Acrylic?
Acrylic, Pro Mount, Dibond mounted print: up to 59.5in on the short edge, up to 118in long (1.5 x 3m).
Can I choose the pvc colour for the back? What’s the colour on the back of the Acrylic?
Our HD Acrylics come with a white 1mm PVC on the back as we want to keep it as sleek as possible.
